The DPAS Web Portal

DPAS customers can view their dentist reports online 24 hours a day, seven days a week. By using the ‘Web Portal’, practices don’t have to wait for the paperwork to make its way through the postal system. With 500,000 letters a week going missing in the post (source: industry regulator Postcomm) the ‘Web Portal’ is a much more efficient, secure and reliable way to access important information.

Well over 300 practices are already using the ‘Web Portal’ from DPAS, some of their recent comments include;

gr8smileclub

The gr8smileclub website is an innovative and unique offering, providing a useful tool for parents and dentists to encourage children to take an interest in their dental health.

The site is essentially a game from beginning to end, encouraging children to enjoy the whole experience of visiting their dental practice. All activities on the website are designed to be educational, informative, but above all fun, consciously avoiding any suggestion that a visit to the dentist is something to be afraid of.

Children who visit the site will find themselves in the reception area of a dental practice, where the format of the site will be explained by a friendly receptionist.

The child will then be able to go through the various rooms in a dental surgery, playing games, learning about dentistry and meeting numerous characters along the way, including a princess, an ogre and a time-travelling tooth called Timmy!

When the child has made their way through each stage of the website, they will return to the reception area, having qualified for a number of additional features, including printouts, pictures to colour in, a brushing chart and a gr8smileclub competition!
