Quentin Skinner - Chairman
Quentin Skinner is chairman of DPAS, the company he founded in 1996 with the aim of offering dentists an alternative, cost-effective payment plan service which would allow them to keep their own identity.
Quentin, a leading player in the establishment of private dental plans in the UK, is passionately committed to helping dentists understand the dental industry’s turbulent political and economic climate with all the issues and challenges that lie ahead and the future management of practices.
Andrew Warren - Sales Support and Marketing Director
Andrew Warren probably has more hands on experience in converting dental practices to private plans than anyone else in the industry and he has played a leading role in the growth of the UK’s private dental plan sector. He joined Quentin Skinner and DPAS in 1997. Since then he has been instrumental in helping to lead DPAS on its mission to support dental practices and provide dentists with independent, practice branded payment plan services.
A former dental technician who has been involved in private dentistry for over 40 years, Andrew has a deep understanding of the challenges that now face others in the profession in these unsettled times. He was part of the original team that set up dental plans over two decades ago.
Gary Anders - Operations Director
Gary has a distinguished track record in the insurance industry, with 30 years’ experience in underwriting and product development for the global insurance giant ACE Group. During that time he was the architect of many pioneering initiatives, using innovative technology to deliver insurance solutions to multinational insurance brokers, large corporate clients and small-to-medium sized enterprises.
Since joining the company in November 2006, Gary has been instrumental in overhauling and fine tuning the DPAS business processes, practices and procedures to support the ever-increasing number of dentists now choosing DPAS dental plans.
Gary is a Fellow of the Chartered Insurance Institute (FCII).
Stephen Noar - Non-executive Director
Stephen qualified as a dentist over 20 years ago, before becoming one of the founding directors of Denplan in 1987.
Having developed the original concept of private capitation schemes and dental plans in the UK, Stephen is widely respected and brings an incomparable knowledge to DPAS.
Louise Beddow - Business Development Manager
Before joining DPAS in 2011, Louise spent eight years working in the internet advertising arena as an Area Sales Manager, and more recently as a Sales Operations Director, building relationships with businesses across the UK.
Louise is very passionate about working with each and every practice as closely as possible to ensure that their business needs are fulfilled at all times, in the process forming strong, long lasting and fruitful working relationships.
Sam Brice - Marketing Manager
Sam joined DPAS in 2008, working in various roles within the Marketing department before being appointed Marketing Manager in September 2010. Having gained a wealth of experience within the dental industry before this appointment, Sam is looking forward to helping DPAS grow significantly over the coming years, while taking an active role in the management team to develop the business as a whole.
Sam is relishing the challenge of building upon DPAS’ previous successes in a time of great change within the dental industry and is committed to ensuring that the company continues to provide the highest quality of service, responding to customers’ needs at all times.
Ian Eslick - Business Development Manager
Ian joined DPAS in 2000 and has been at the forefront of the business’ dynamic growth during this time, working for the company across all regions of the UK. Prior to joining DPAS, Ian was Business Manager at a dental practice in the south west and has also worked in various other sectors, including industry, commerce and finance.
Ian has gained extensive experience in the market of practice-branded payment plans, having had to adapt to the ever-changing market conditions imposed by both the private sector and the NHS. This experience continues to benefit new DPAS customers and he enjoys working very closely with them to ensure that the best possible tailored plans are implemented in their practices.
Margaret Holmes - Insurance Manager
Margaret Holmes has worked for DPAS for more than 10 years, seeing the company grow from a fledgling business to the dynamic operation it is today. Having held a number of positions over that time, Margaret is now a key member of the management team with a wealth of experience to deploy across the business. Margaret is currently Insurance Manager with responsibility for FSA compliance.
Anne-Marie Lloyd-Jones - Sales Development Manager
Anne-Marie has been with DPAS since 2007, initially joining the company as Business Development Coordinator following previous roles in banking, finance, education and administrative training. As a former business owner, with experience working in the UK and abroad, Anne-Marie has a deep understanding of the challenges facing businesses today.
Appointed Sales Development Manager in 2011, Anne-Marie now heads up the Sales Support team, collectively looking after the needs of DPAS customers from their initial consultation right through to the implementation of their plans and beyond. With a regionally-based team and office-based support at Place Farm, Anne-Marie has built a department equipped to provide exemplary support to customers old and new, always looking for ways to innovate and improve the services provided to these practices.
Janet Mason - Business Development Manager
Janet joined DPAS in 2005 as an Account Manager, looking after existing customers on a face-to-face basis, following nineteen years of experience managing a large team in the textile industry. In 2008 Janet became a Business Development Manager, working closely with new customers to ensure that they have the right plans for their patients.
Janet is extremely passionate about her work and strongly believes in the value of listening attentively to customers at all times. This approach not only ensures that the practice’s needs are successfully fulfilled, but also fosters a strong and long lasting relationships for years to come.
Jo Mooney - Customer Service Manager
Jo began her career with DPAS in November 2003 having spent many years in retail management. Dealing with members of the public “face to face” allowed Jo to hone her customer service and relationship management skills.
Jo became head of department in 2006 and two years later was further promoted to her current position as DPAS Customer Services Manager. Throughout a period of substantial growth since Spring 2006, Jo has been the key driver of a number of initiatives designed to deliver an industry leading standard in customer service from DPAS.
